I'm not versed well enough in the scanning industry to say how competitive the price was or what the quality of the delivered surfaces were vs. a competitor. I do feel that the price was reasonable and we received what I expected to receive. The main reasons I will try and use 3DScanCo in the future are:

• Your quick response time. This alone salvaged a critical milestone in our project. The programmatic and monetary cost of not accomplishing the task at the required date would have been detrimental to the project. The fact that 3DScanCo was able to begin the task 3 business days after the official request was given was exceptional, and well deserving of future business.
• Your technical expertise and knowledge of the scanning hardware and software. This was critical, and tested on the NASA ORCLE project. The ability to salvage a weeks worth of work after [the airline] lost the scale bars was due purely to the intimate knowledge of the scanning technology. Had a lesser company been on the job that only knew the "textbook" way to use their tools, the task would have been impossible and would have resulted in at least $30K lost between rescheduling, travel, and labor hours. 3DscanCo's resourcefulness and ability to solve this problem allowed the task to be completed without any cost or scheduling penalties.
• Your hard work and dedication while on task. This was required, due to scheduling issues and the amount of work that had to be done in the time allotted. 3DScanCo left an excellent impression on the NASA customer because of your willingness to work hard and work odd hours due to the aircraft scheduling.
• Your follow up support. 3DScanCo has remained in contact with ARINC and worked hard to give ARINC a deliverable in the desired format and having the characteristics that our project requires.
